Can we make it?
Section, wall and any fine features are read against the press — small-section capability included.
Machining & finish agreed
End machining, cut-outs, ports and the anodize or mill surface are all itemised in the quote.
Proof before shipping
Cavity dimensions are gauged so the boards fit, with material or finish certificates as required.
Machining and surface treatment happen here, in the same plant — CNC & machining · Finishing.

06Frequently asked questions
Why choose an extruded housing over sheet metal or plastic?
One seamless body, board guides formed into the metal, stiffness, heat spreading and EMI shielding for free — that combination is hard to fold or mould. Where the device runs cool and unshielded, sheet or plastic may still win on cost; describe yours and the comparison comes back honest.
Ports, cut-outs and end plates — who machines those?
We do, in the same building where the profile was extruded. Openings marked on the drawing come back machined, and the anodize is sequenced around them, so the enclosure ships assembly-ready.
How compact can the section be?
This category leans directly on our small-section expertise — down to a 2 mm circumscribing circle and 0.3 mm walls on suitable geometry. If your housing is tight, that is a reason to talk to us, not a problem.
Can the enclosure be made weatherproof?
Ingress protection is a system property — gasket, end caps and joints together, not the extrusion alone. Name the rating you need and we confirm the grooves and cap fits the profile must carry to reach it.
