Custom program & sampling
The path from a drawing — or half a drawing — to a first article you have approved, before any volume order exists.
Custom parts fail at the start, not the end: an unmanufacturable radius, the wrong alloy, tooling bought too early. This program front-loads those decisions. We read the drawing for manufacturability, recommend alloy and tooling, and put an approved sample in your hands before the series is priced into existence.

03Frequently asked questions
How long does sampling take?
New tooling and section complexity set the clock, so the honest answer is per-part. Send the drawing and the quote includes a sampling date for your job, not an industry average.
Is the sample made the same way the series will be?
Yes — same tooling, same route, same checks. A first article made on a shortcut process would prove nothing, so we don't do that.
We have a concept but no finished drawing. Can you work with that?
Within a defined scope, yes: we help settle the section details so the part can be extruded and machined. What we don't do is full product design — your engineers own the product, we make it manufacturable.
Which features make a section hard to extrude?
A thin wall butted against a thick one, an extreme aspect ratio, a knife-sharp internal corner, a badly lopsided section. If your drawing has one of these, the review says so — and shows the adjustment that removes it.
